Features
The Devilbiss Cobra 2 is an automatic air spray gun and mounted to a base plate (manifold) that allows the quick detachment of the spray gun body, via locking lever, from the base plate and herewith from the air and fluid supply. The gun can be equipped with air caps for either Conventional, Trans-Tech or HVLP atomization. An air cap index ring for consistent application repeatability is standard and an micrometer needle adjustment allows fine and accurate fluid flow control.
TIP: The Devilbiss Cobra 2 is an automatic spray gun system that is mounted on a base plate (manifold). However, It is possible to replace only the spray gun body without the base plate (manifold). Important: The Devilbiss Cobra 1 is NOT suitable to be connected to a base plate (manifold). Contact us for more information.
FAQ: What is the difference between Devilbiss Cobra and Devilbiss Compact automatic spray gun?
The Devilbiss Cobra is a further development of the Devilbiss Compact automatic spray gun (CMAI/CMAX – Trans-Tech (green) & HVLP (blue). Devilbiss Cobra and Compact spray guns have many parts in common, including major atomizing components such as Air Caps (SP-100-xxx-K series) and Fluid Nozzles/Tips (SP-200S-xx-K series).
FAQ: What is the difference between Devilbiss Cobra 1 and Cobra 2 automatic spray gun?
The Devilbiss Cobra 1 and Cobra 2 automatic spray guns use the same main components (air cap/nozzle/needle), but there is one very important difference: On the Devilbiss Cobra 1 the fluid and air hoses are connected directly to the spray gun body while at the Devilbiss Cobra 2 the fluid and air hoses are connected to a base plate (manifold) that allows the quick detachment of the spray gun body.
